Services for Fred A. Chevalier, 71, of 912 Hawthorne Ave., will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the O'Keefe and Towne Funeral Home with burial in Fairview Cemetery.

Mr. Chevalier died at 2 p.m. Thursday of a heart attack at Harper's Ferry.

He was bom Nov. 22, 1902, the son of Fred and Gertrude Chevalier. He married Mabel Lehmkuhl on Feb. 20, 1928. He was a yard master for the Illinois Central Railroad, retiring in 1964.

Survivors include his wife and a sister, Mrs. Rose Gruver of 1235 Lyon Ave.

Friends may call at the O'Keefe and Towne Funeral Home after 6 p.m. Friday and until services on Saturday.
