CEDAR FALLS - Albert R. Booth, 83, of Friendship Village, Waterloo, formerly of Cedar Falls, died Thursday, Jan. 26, 2006, at the Cedar Valley Hospice Home, Waterloo.

He was born Feb. 6, 1922, in Austin, Minn., son of Roy C. and Olive Rhodes Booth. He married Maxine Rasmusson April 5, 1946, in Cedar Falls. She died Oct. 10, 1977. He then married Marjorie M. Bergstrom June 2, 1979, in Cedar Falls. She died July 30, 1995.

He received his degree from Gates Business College and served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Mr. Booth had been employed in the accounting and sales departments at Rasmusson Chevrolet for 28 years and then with Ace Fogdall RV, retiring in 1983.

Survived by two sons, Rich (Susan) of Waterloo and Steve (Karen) of Wasilla, Alaska; two daughters, Sherry Booth of Portland, Ore., and Jennifer (Dennis Grim) Booth of West Liberty; six grandchildren; seven brothers, Calvin of Waxhaw, N.C., Robert of Rindge, N.H., John of Andover, Mass., Roger of Manson, Wash., Donald of West Palm Beach, Fla., William of San Diego and David of Union Grove, Wis.; and three sisters, Barbara Williams of Seattle, Alice Petersen of Tahlequah, Okla., and Jessie Becker of Medway, Mass.

Services: 2 p.m. Tuesday at Prairie Lakes Church, with burial in Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at Richardson Funeral Home, and for an hour before services Tuesday at the church.

Memorials may be directed to Shepherd's Ministries, Union Grove, Wis., Cedar Valley Hospice or the church.
