HUNTLEY, CHAMPLAIN

Mrs. Emma Huntley, wife of Police officer Charlie Huntley, died at her home, 1620 East Fourth Street at 10:26 o'clock today, of acute sceptic peritonitis, after a very short illness.

Deceased was born at Shell Rock, in 1865. and came to Waterloo about 11 years ago. She was married to Chas. Huntley in February 1887, three children having been born to them. The children are Ethel, aged 11 years; Roy, aged 7, and Lloyd aged 4,

Besides the husband and children she leaves two brothers, William Champlain of Cedar Rapids, and Charles W. Champlain of Cedar Falls.

Mrs. Huntley was a devoted number of the Walnut Street Baptist Church of this city having worshipped and
assisted in the church work there during all her residence in the city.

The sorrowing husband and children have the sincere sympathy of all in their affliction. The funeral arrangements have not been completed as yet.
