WATERLOO — Tracy Lynn Willis, 51, of Waterloo, formerly of Faribault, Minn., died Wednesday, July 24, 2013, as a result of injuries received in an automobile accident.

She was born Sept. 2, 1961, in Pontococ, Miss., daughter of Ronny and Betty Lou Carwyle Fike. She married Bernard Willis on May 31, 1980, in Massachusetts.

She graduated from Waterloo Central High School in 1979 and from South Central Technical College in Faribault, Minn., in 1988. She served in the U.S. Army. She was a data processor at Rust Consulting for 14 years.

Survived by her husband of Waterloo; two sons, Michael (Samantha) Willis of Faribault, Minn., and David Willis of Phoenix, Ariz.; two daughters, Aimee Jo Fike and Amber Fike, both of Waterloo; three grandsons, Liam, Gavin and Meilyr; her father and stepmother, Ronny (Patty) Fike of Waterloo; a brother Barry (Mary) Fike of Faribault, Minn.; two nieces, Cassandra and Nichole; a nephew, Andrew; and a large extended family.

Preceded in death by her mother; a sister, Tammy; and her grandparents

Services: 2 p.m. Monday at Locke Funeral Home. Visitation for two hours before the service at the funeral home.

Memorials may be directed to the family.

JANESVILLE, Iowa — The Bremer county Sheriff's Office says a Minnesota woman has died in a two-vehicle crash caused by a wrong-way driver in northeast Iowa.

The sheriff office says 51-year-old Tracy Lynn Willis, of Faribault, Minn., died in the Wednesday afternoon collision on Highway 218 north of Janesville.

Dispatchers received a call of a red truck that was northbound in the southbound lanes of Highway 218.

Before officers could reach the area, the truck collided head-on with a southbound vehicle driven by Willis.

The truck driver, 58-year-old Verle Dean Wygle, of Waterloo, was taken to a Waterloo hospital.
