Services for Aubrey M. Velie, 73, of Lansing and formerly of Waterloo, were Saturday in Boulder, Colo., with burial in Green Mountain Cemetery, Boulder. Mr. Velie died Nov. 19 at his son's home in Boulder.

He was born Sept. 20, 1904, in Essex, the son of James M. and Angeline M. Shipley Velie. He married Dorothy B. Knight in Dubuque Nov. 27. 1933.

Mr. Velie lived in Waterloo for 41 years working at Rath Packing Company for 19 years and at Sunray DX Oil Company bulk station for 22 years, retiring in October 1968.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Arlo J. Velie of Boulder; two granddaughters; and two sisters, Hazel Ingersol of Minneapolis, Minn., and Irene Buck of Denver, Colo.
