Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Walnut Street Baptist Church for Mrs. Carrie Wagner, 79, of 1438 Hawthorne Ave., who died Tuesday noon at Schoitz Memorial Hospital. Friends may call at the Parrott & Wood Funeral Home after noontime Thursday.

She was born June 21, 1889, In Burlington, the daughter of Didrich and Jennie Anderson Siefken. She was married to Carl H. Wagner on June 16, 1909. at West Burlington. They lived in East St. Louis, EL, and Waterloo since 1920. She was a member of the Walnut Street Baptist Church and of the National Association of Retired Civil employes, Chapter 207.

Surviving are three sons, Richard of Rt. 1, Waterloo; Earl of 1425 Hawthorne Ave.; Paul of 1704 Glenny Ave.; one daughter, Mrs. Darwin Shepard of 1642 Glenny Ave.; three brothers, Henry Siefken, 1706 Bertch Ave.; Carl and Ed, both of Burlington; two sisters. Mrs. Nellie Hansen; and Mrs. Frieda Oetken, both of Burlington; 14 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 1966, two brothers and two sisters.

Those who wish may give to the Memorial fund of the Walnut Street Baptist Church.
