CEDAR FALLS — Services for Fern Morgensen, 71, of Route 1, will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home with burial in Greenwood Cemetery. She died early Saturday (Aug. 30, 1986) at her home.

She was born Sept. 9, 1914, in Illinois, daughter of Frank and Eleanor Washburn Wright. She married Carl M. Morgensen on Aug. 31, 1935, in Nashua. He died in 1964.

Survivors include a daughter, Bethel Hammer of Cedar Falls; and four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Duane; a grandson, Forest Wade Hammer; a sister, Mary Ellen Christensen; and three brothers, Truman Wright, Robert Wright and Lloyd Wright.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. today, from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. Tuesday and until services Wednesday.
