WATERLOO - Norma G. Crandell, 81, of Waterloo, died Sunday, June 22, 2008 at Covenant Medical Center.

She was born Sept. 27, 1926, in Waverly, daughter of Jess and Marion Feller Patterson. She married Warren L. Crandell on March 6, 1945, in Waverly. He died April 8, 1986.

Mrs. Crandell was employed as an assembler for Certron Manufacturing in California.

Survived by two sons, Martin of Jackson Hole, Wyo., and John of Waterloo; a daughter, Becky (Larry) Keefover of Newbern, N.C.; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by a brother, James Patterson; three sisters, Katherine Patterson, Hazel Terhune and Mary Lisch.

There will be no services or visitation. Inurnment will take place later in Garden of Memories, Waterloo. Richardson Funeral Home assisted the family.

Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
