Cedar Falls, Iowa Marcella "Sally" Schuler was born September 24, 1917, in Harrison County, Iowa, the daughter of William and Anne (Lovell) Summerfield. On July 2, 1937, she was united in marriage to Russell A. Schuler in Sioux Falls, SD. He died March 20, 1993.

She was employed at the Christie Motel and later as a nurse's aide at the Christie Convalescent Home, both in Cedar Falls.

Sally is survived by her son, Lee Schuler of Cedar Falls, four grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and sisters, LaVonne Brink of Denison, Iowa and Mary (Darrell) Watkins of Dunlap, Iowa.

Sally died Friday, April 14, 2006, at Sartori Memorial Hospital in Cedar Falls.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Howard L. Schuler; two brothers, Walter and Ralph Summerfield; and four sisters.
