Services for Elmer Brandt, 78, a resident of the ICF Unit at Franklin General Hospital, Hampton, formerly of Cedar Terrace Drive, will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Garden View Chapel with burial in Garden of
Memories Cemetery. He died Monday morning at Franklin General Hospital.

He was born on Jan. 21, 1907, near Stout, son of Alricn and Reka Frey Brandt. He married Dorothy Adams on March 25, 1940, in Mason City. She died in 1973.

He was a machinist at John Deere for 38 years, retiring in 1978, and then he was a tour guide for John Deere.

Survivors include two brothers, Edward of Parkersburg and Al of 134 Marie Ave.; and a sister, Mrs. Fred
Meyer of Mason City.

Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Garden View Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 a.m. to services Thursday. Private family and relative visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. today.
