Services are pending at Locke Funeral Home for Mildred M. Dix, 70, of Parkview Gardens Nursing Home who died Friday night of a heart condition.

Mildred was born April 13, 1898, in Cedar Falls, the daughter of Elmer and Angie Grover Reed.

She is survived by a son, Donald A. of Boston, Mass., and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a son and three brothers.

Friends may call after. 10 a.m. tomorrow at Locke Funeral Home.
