The funeral of Mrs. John S. Glover, whose death occurred yesterday morning, will be held Saturday afternoon at 2:00, o'clock at the home, No. 327 Commercial Street, conducted by Rev. J. G. Van Ness, of Marshalltown, assisted by Rev. W. S. Craft, of the First M. E. church, of this city. The interment will be in Elmwood.

New York is the native state of Mrs. Glover. When a young girl she came with her parents to Mt. Clemens, Mich., and there grew to young womanhood. From there she went to New York City and resided for a time with her sister, Mrs. J. S. Coiladay. It was at this time that she met Mr. John S. Glover, with whom she was united in Marriage April 24, 1854. For two years they resided at Warsaw, N. Y. and in 1867 they came to Waterloo and have resided here ever since.

They have but one child, Mrs. James Paul Davis.

Mr. Glover has been engaged in the dry goods business during the thirty-two years of his residence here. Mrs. Glover has been identified with the Methodist Church over fifty years, and has been a member of First Church in this city during her long residence here.

Besides the husband, there are left the following named brothers and sisters: Mrs. Louise M. Knotts, of Lincoln, Neb.; Mrs. Helen Knotts, of Waterloo; Charles A. Lutes, of Wellsboro, Penn., and Frank W. Lutes, of Wolcott, N. Y.
