Funeral services for Edward Polark, 72, of 1002 Franklin St., who died at 10:45 a. m. Wednesday in St. Francis Hospital, will be at 9:30 a. m. Friday at St. John's Catholic Church. Father Clarence A. Ferring, pastor, will officiate and burial will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. The parish rosary will be held at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at O'Keefe and Towne Funeral Home.

Polark was born in 1892 at Jesup to Joseph and Mary Polark. He lived most of his life in Waterloo and worked with Construction Machinery Co., retiring four years ago. He married Agnes Sullivan in 1914 in Independence.

Surviving is his son, Wendell Polark of Madison, Wis.

He was preceded in death by his wife and parents.
