Janet Louise Tarrants, 57, died Thursday August 13, 2009, at her home of natural causes.

She was born November 30, 1951, in Louisiana, Missouri, daughter of Jackie and Margaret Branstetter Tarrants. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by her mother, Margaret Tarrants of Waterloo; a son Justin of Waterloo; two grandchildren Justine and Jacklyn, both of Charles City; three aunts and an uncle from Missouri and Illinois.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Services will be 1:30 pm Friday August 28 at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South Street. Friends may call from 5-7 pm Thursday and for an hour before services on Friday.

Memorials may be made to the family.
