Services for Myrtle A. Hurlbut, 81, formerly of Waterloo, will be 3 p.m. today at Shriner-Neushwander Funeral Home, Monroe, Wis., with burial in Greenwood Cemetery, Monroe. She died Thursday afternoon at Monroe Manor Nursing Home, Monroe, of Alzheimer's disease.

Miss Hurlbut was born March 26, 1904, in Monroe, Wis., daughter of Kenneth C. and Bessie Goldy Hurlbut.

She was a telephone switchboard operator at the DX Sun Oil Company northern division headquarters in Waterloo 42 years, retiring in 1969.

Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Dorothy Streiff of New Glarus, Wis.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Parker D. and Stuart W. Hurlbut.
