CEDAR FALLS — Virgil John Vines, 63, of Cedar Falls, died at home Tuesday, July 2, 2013.

He was born Dec. 15, 1949, in Terrell, Texas, son of Lowell and Maurine Teutle Vines. He married Robin King, and they later divorced.

Mr. Vines worked in maintenance at Heritage Farmstead, Plano, Texas.

Survived by a son, Eric (Rachael) of Garland, Texas; a daughter, Katie Vines of Dike; and a granddaughter, Anna Martin of Dike.

Preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Lowell Jr.

Private family services will be held at a later date. Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on South Street is assisting the family.
