CEDAR FALLS — Memorial services for Rosina S. Truesdell, 77, of 1522 W. Sixth St., will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home with burial in Union Cemetery, Ottosen. She died at her home Tuesday morning (Aug. 1, 1989) after a heart attack.

She was born Dec. 26, 1911, in Bode, daughter of Iver J. and Katie Lang Shursen. She married Wayne P. Truesdell on Nov. 8, 1930,in Archer. He died Feb. 28, 1988.

Survivors include one son, Warren Paul Truesdell of Cedar Falls; two daughters, Mary K. Christian of Sac City and Rebecca Sue Davies of Anchorage, Alaska; and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband; and a son-in-law, Wilmer Christian..

An Eastern Star service will be 7 p.m. today at the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 6:30 to 9 p.m. today.

Memorials may be made to the Wayne P. Truesdell Scholarship at the University of Northern Iowa.
