Rosie Ridgeway was born October 1, 1938, in Waterloo, Iowa, the daughter of Frederick W. and Mary Dorothy (Fretter) Kezar. On September 22, 1954, she was united in marriage to Paul W. Ridgeway in San Antonio, Texas. He died July 20, 1998. She helped during election time at polling position in Waterloo and spent her time raising eight children.

Rosie is survived by her children: Kathy Anne (Russell) Suhr, Mary Jane (Wade) Uting, Curtis Anthony Ridgeway, Pamela Sussanne (Dale) Gross, all of Waterloo, Alice Elizabeth (Michael) Watts of Blaine, MN, Carol-Lynne Rose (Michael) Burke of Champlin, MN and Jonathon Paul (Christina) Ridgeway of Waterloo; eighteen grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; brother, Frederick Anthony Kezar of Cloudcroft, NM; step in mother, Aleen Kezar of Waterloo; four half-sisters, Vernice (Paul) Delk of Cedar Falls, Colleen (Jim) Mills of Waterloo, Lisa (Shane) Waltersdorf of Grundy Center and Annette (Ron) Meyerhoff of Readlyn and four half-brothers, Bill (Donna) Kezar of Clear Lake, Jim (Sandy) Kezar and Mike (Beth) Kezar, all of Forest City and Rick Kezar of Thompson..

Rosie died Thursday, June 24, 2004, at Covenant Medical Center in Waterloo.

She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Dionne Irene Kulaszewski.
