Funeral services for Mrs. Mollie Kate Taylor, 70, of 216 Salisbury St., wife of the Rev. E. M. Taylor, are scheduled for 1 p. m. Saturday at the Mount Carmel Baptist Church with the Rev, R. S. Ruckett, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Mrs. Taylor died at her home Tuesday afternoon, following a stroke.

She was born Dec. 17, 1893, at Durant, Miss., the daughter of Thomas and Frances Brown. She was married to the Rev. Mr. Taylor in Greenwood, Miss., Jan. 13, 1919. She had resided in Waterloo for 45 years.

Surviving besides her husband are two sisters, Mrs. Dora Taylor, 210 Oneida St., and Mrs. Pearl Taylor, 127 Hopkins Ct.; two half brothers, Ivory Brown, Chicago, and Joe Brown, 107 Bates St.; two daughters, Mrs. Luelia Spencer, 233 Quincy St., and Mrs. Naomi Robinson, 328 Dane St.; two sons, Raynard Taylor, 400 Dane St., and Stephen Taylor, 216 Salisbury St., and a stepson, Allen Taylor, 312 N. Barclay St. There are also 17 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, three sisters, two sons, one daughter and a granddaughter.

Mrs.. Taylor was a charter member of Mount Carmel Baptist Church and was a member of Palestine Chapter No. 2 Order of Eastern Star.
