CEDAR FALLS — Joseph Lawrence "Joe" McKinley, 59, of Cedar Falls, died at home Saturday, July 6, 2013.

He was born Dec. 19, 1953, in Des Moines, son of William W. and Noreen B. Doyle McKinley. He married Cindy Ristvedt on Nov. 29, 1974, in Cedar Falls.

Mr. McKinley graduated from Northern University High School in 1972 and attended the University of Northern Iowa. He was employed at Performance Bodies, Cedar Falls, as a controller.

Survived by his wife; a son, Matthew W. of Evergreen, Colo.; a daughter, Megan A. McKinley of Evergreen; and five brothers, William T. (Joyce) of Cedar Falls, John D. (Tara) of Pekin, Ill., James A. of Clear Lake, Thomas S. (Lisa) of Denver, Colo., and Peter G. (George) of Palm Coast, Fla.

Per his request, there will be no services. His body has been cremated. Richardson Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be directed to the American Heart Association.
