HUDSON - Services for Ralph E. Hall, 69, of 305 Pleasant Drive, Hudson, will be 10:38 a.m. Friday at United Methodist Church in Hudson with burial in Hudson Cemetery. Graveside military rites will be conducted by the Hudson American Legion Post.

Mr. Hall died Monday night at St. Francis Hospital in Waterloo.

He was born Feb. 2, 1915, at Weldon, son of Roy and Mary Ernest Hall. He married Dorothy Mason June 18, 1939, at Tama.

He was a World War II veteran, serving with the U.S. Army. Mr. Hall operated the Jack Spratt Food Store from 1947 to 1954 in Tama. He was employed by the Continental Baking Co. of Waterloo as shipping foreman from 1956 until retiring in 1977.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; a son, Gary of Jefferson; two daughters, Jeanie Williams of Norfolk, Neb., and Jane Strayer of Hudson; six grandchildren; and a sister, Bess McClain of Des Moines.

The family will receive friends until 4 and from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at French-Hand Funeral Home in
Reinbeck.

Memorials may be made to United Methodist Church in Hudson.
