Graveside services for Vanita Chopard, 64, of 1021 Forest Ave., will be 10:15 a.m. Saturday at Edgewood Cemetery in Edgewood with funeral services at 11 a.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church in Dundee. Mrs. Chopard died Wednesday at Schoitz Medical Center after a lengthy illness.

She was born Dec. 7, 1919, at rural Colesburg, daughter of Loyd and Rose Gleason Barger. She married Cecil Chopard June 26,1938, at Manchester. He died in 1977.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Cecilia Vickery of 1021 Forest Ave: and Mrs. Sandra Marlene Heefner of Des Moines; four grandchildren and a great-grandchild; her mother of Strawberry Point; and two sisters, Agatha Scott of Strawberry Point and Ho Abel of Montevideo, Minn.
