Services for Dora E. Knight, 85, of Karen Acres Nursing Home in Des Moines, formerly of Waterloo, were 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Johnson Funeral Chapel in Ottumwa with burial in Sherman Chapel Cemetery, south of Ottumwa. Mrs. Knight died at the nursing home Friday.

She was born June 19, 1896, in Appanoose County, daughter of John and Clara Helmick Klingler. She married Sherman A. Knight in February 1917 at Bloomfield. He died in 1965.

Survivors include two sons, Harold A. of Des Moines and Howard H. of Green Mountain; seven grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; a brother, Herman Bridgeman of Ottumwa; and a sister, Irene Haines of Council Bluffs.
