ROCK ISLAND WRECK DEATH LIST FOURTEEN

Benjamin B. Cllver, of Waterloo sustained a crushed skull, injured spine, broken leg and crushed cheek bones. Mr. Oliver was formerly a resident of Cedar Rapids and came from that city about five years ago to take charge of the local yards of the Blackhawk Lumber Company. Last March he resigned to take a position with the Nauman Company.

Friday W. B. Nauman, one of the members of the firm, had occasion to make a business trip to Greene.. He was at the train and there saw Mr. Cliver, who is a friend of the party Mr. Nauman- expected to see at Greene. The arrangements were changed and Mr. Cllver was dispatched instead.

Deceased leaves a wife, but no children, and no other relatives reside in this locality. His widow is prostrated at the residence on Walnut Street

Mr. Cliver was widely known among the traveling fraternity, having held office in the Traveling Men's Protective Association. He was also a member in the Modern Woodmen of America, the Knights of Pythias and was exalted ruler of Waterloo lodge of Elks last year. He carried a policy of $3,000 in the T. P. A. besides several accident policies.

Mr. Cliver was born at Clarksvllle, Ohio, Nov. 5, 1860, and was 47 years old at time of death. He leaves brothers at Topeka, Kansas; Little Rock, Arkansas; and Lookeva, Oklahoma, His aged mother resides at Topeka.

Funeral services will be conducted from the residence at 1:00 o'clock Sunday, afternoon by Rev. G. W. Hinkle, of Christ Episcopal church. The brother from Topeka will be here to attend the services. At 2:00 o'clock the body will be taken to Cincinnati, Ohio for burial.
