Services for George H. Stange, 80, of 1157 Easton Ave., will be 2:30 p.m. Monday at the Locke Funeral Home with burial in Garden of Memories. He died Friday at 3:50 p.m. at Schoitz Memorial Hospital of complications following surgery.

He was born in Emmettsburg April 10, 1897, the son of Glaus and Catherine Bunz Stange. He was employed at the John Deere Waterloo Tractor Works until his retirement in 1962. He served in both World War I and World War II.

Surviving is a sister, Mrs. Ella Elkema of 1157 Easton Ave., with whom he lived for 50 years.

Friends who wish may give memorials to Central Christian Church.

There will be a graveside flag-folding ceremony by American Legion Post 138. Friends may call at the funeral home. after 2 p.m. Sunday.
