CEDAR FALLS - Russell F. Petersen, 50, died Thursday, March 15, 2007, at Sartori Memorial Hospital Emergency Room.

He was born April 21, 1956, in Waverly, son of Herman and Eleanor Frank Petersen.

Mr. Petersen was a 1974 graduate of Cedar Falls High School and was currently employed with Wayne Industrial Holding (Wayne Engineering).

Survivors include two brothers, Marvin (Karen) Petersen and Allen (Peggy) Petersen, both of Cedar Falls; a sister, Lorraine (Larry) Meyer of Cedar Falls; and five nieces and two nephews.

Preceded in death by his parents.

Services: 11 a.m. Tuesday at Richardson Funeral Home, with inurnment at a later date in Greenwood Cemetery, both in Cedar Falls. Public visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with family present from 5 to 7 p.m.
