DUNKERTON — Alice M. Westendorf, 93, formerly of Dunkerton, died Wednesday, June 26, at NewAldaya Lifescapes, Cedar Falls.

She was born June 2, 1920, in Sumner, daughter of William A. and Emma Schlomann Tietje. She married Wendell Rudolph Westendorf on April 10, 1945, in Sumner. He preceded her in death on July 17, 1996.

She graduated from Sumner High School in 1938.

Survived by two sons, Steve of Cedar Rapids and Larry (Vickie) of Waterloo; a daughter, Elaine (Galen) Schellhorn of Sumner; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Herb Tietje.

Services: 3 p.m. today at Concordia Lutheran Church, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery, both in Waterloo. Visitation will be for an hour before services today at the church.
