Hans H. Oye

Memorial services will be 10 a.m. Monday at Garden View Chapel for Hans H. Oye, 70, of 3948 Cedar Terrace Drive. Burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery will precede the services. Mr. Oye died of an apparent heart attack at his home.

He was born Feb. 7, 1913, at Rosemont, Neb., son of John Henry and Lena T. Boom Oye. He married
Melvina May Gilliland Feb. 15, 1951, in Missouri. They later were divorced. He was employed as a spray painter at John Deere Tractor Works for 36 years, retiring in 1978. He served in the Army during World War

He is survived by a son, Leo Oye of Des Moines; two daughters, Mrs. Leeta Sanger of Dallas Center and Karen McCombs of Albia; three grandchildren; and a sister, Christine Oye of Perry.

There will be no visitation. Memorials may be given to St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Albia.
