Bill D. Griefnow, 67, of Carlysle, formerly of Waterloo, died of a heart attack Sunday. There will be no services. The body will be cremated.

He was born in Waterloo Dec. 18, 1917. He worked in Waterloo for 37 years as a conductor with the Illinois Central Railroad until his retirement.

He is survived by a daughter, Janet Russell of Des Moines; and three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at his daughter's home at 8005 Dema Drive, Des

Moines, from 1 to 4 p.m. Wednesday.
