Services for Arthur Witt, 69, of Cresco, formerly of Waterloo, will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Cresco with memorial services at 2:30 p.m. in Garden of Memories Cemetery, Waterloo. Mr. Witt died Sunday night at Howard County Hospital in Cresco.

He was born Sept. 24, 1915, at Waterloo, son of Charles and Minnie Kone Witt. He married Louise Johnson June 10, 1939. He operated the Highway Inn for 16 years before retiring. He was a Master Mason of Waterloo Lodge 105 and a member of the Evansdale AMVETS.

He is survived by his wife; three sons, Ron Witt of Cedar Rapids, Dennis Witt of Waterloo and Steven Witt of Rochester, Minn.; three daughters, Pam Burnikel of Lime Springs, Cheryl Neubauer of Austin,
Minn., and Kim Witt of Austin, Texas.; three sisters, Gert Morkel and Edna McClintock, both of Waterloo, and Leona Hirsch of Wisconsin; 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a grandson and a granddaughter.
