Paul Sidney Hanson, 70, of 309 Walnut Ct, died at 6 a. m. Saturday in St. Francis Hospital from complications arising from diabetes.

Mr. Hanson was born Oct. 15, 1884, at Brookfield, Mo., the son of Mr. and Mrs. Judson Hanson. He lived in Brookfield and later moved to eastern Nebraska.

He married Alma E. Peil in Milqaukee, Aug. 15, 1910, and she died about five years ago.

Mr. Hanson came to Waterloo from LaPorte, Ind., in 1936. He was employed as a production head at the John Deere Waterloo Tractor Works until his retirement in 1932. He belonged to the John Deere Supervisors Club.

The body is at the Locke Funeral Home pending arrangements.

A half-sister preceded him in death and there are no known survivors.
