Funeral services for Loren J. McRoberts, 91, of Greene, will be 10:30 a.m.,Wednesday, August 7, 2013, at the Church of the Brethren in Greene, with Pastor Ann Donat officiating. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery, Greene, with Military Honors conducted by Tack-Barnett Post 268 American Legion of Greene.

Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m., Tuesday, August 6, 2013, at Reid’s Funeral Chapel, 519 N. First St.in Greene where there will be a Public Prayer Service at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue at the church one hour before services on Wednesday.

Loren J. McRoberts was born July 27, 1922, in Orange Township, Black Hawk County, Iowa, he was one of four children born to John W. and Wilma A. (Saylor) McRoberts and died Friday, August 2, 2013, at the Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit in Mason City.
