Memorial services for Alfred "Bud" Wood, 59, of Trego, Wis., formerly of Waterloo, will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Parrott and Wood Funeral Home. He died at Veterans Center in Des Moines Tuesday night.

He was born May 2, 1920, in Waterloo. son of Benjamin and Charlotte Rhodes Wood. He married Jean Koon Sept. 1, 1946, in Troy, Kan.

He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Navy. He operated several lounges in Waterloo and Shell Rock.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Betty Lou Tootili, Philadelphia, Pa., and Mrs. Jeanne Rath of Indianola; two grandchildren; his mother of 1624 East St., Cedar Falls; a brother, William 0. of 1825 Iowa St.. Cedar Falls, and two sisters, Mrs. Mae Gray of Burbank, Calif., and Mrs. Bernice
Davis of Orange, Va.

There will be no visitation. The body has been cremated.
