WATERLOO - Melba B. Kloster, 94, formerly of Waterloo, died Friday, April 13, 2007, at the Western Home Communities, Cedar Falls.

She was born March 28, 1913, in Bethel Township, daughter of John and Blanche Steadman Reisner. She married Guy Kloster on Nov. 22, 1931, and they were later divorced.

Mrs. Kloster was employed in the purchasing department of John Deere Waterloo Tractor Works for 33 years until her retirement.

Survivors include two nephews, Fred Reisner and Ron Reisner; and three nieces, Linda Farrell, Mary Westendorf and Janice Neal.

Preceded in death by a son, Thomas G. Kloster; four brothers, Clarence, Lloyd, Donald and Raymond Reisner; and a half sister, Marion Holmes.

Graveside services: 2 p.m. Thursday at Elmwood Cemetery with burial there. Public visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway.

Memorials may be made to First Congregational Church.
