CEDAR FALLS - Services for Hobart A. Howe, 79, of 1616 Tremont St., will be 1 p.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church with burial in Oakland Cemetery in Janesville. There will be a Masonic service at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Richardson Funeral Home. He died Thursday afternoon at Sartori Memorial Hospital of a coronary attack.

Mr. Howe was born Sept. 11, 1901, in Janesville. son of Charles and Martha St. John Howe. He married Alice L. Butler June 3, 1925, at Nashua. Before retiring in 1963. he was employed by the U.S. Postal Transportation Service.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters. Mrs. James Kachelhoffer of Des Moines and Mrs. Tom Sears of Cedar Rapids; a sister. Mrs. Adeline Hartung of Omaha. Neb.; and two granddaughters.

Friends may call at the funeral home until 9 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m. Saturday and at the church from noon until services.

Memorials may be given to the elevator fund at First United Methodist Church, or the Shrine Hospital.
