Dennis L. Heide, 61, of Waterloo died Friday, January 25, 2008, at Covenant Medical Center of natural causes.

He was born April 29, 1946 in Waterloo, the son of Roy Heide and Ila Olsson Lindsay. Mr. Heide was a home health care worker for 10 years.

Survivors include his mother of Waterloo; a son David (Charity) of Waterloo; a daughter Rochelle "Shelly" (Billy) Steele of Cedar Falls; 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by his father.

Services: 1 p.m. Monday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway. Public visitation from 11-1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be directed to the family.
