WATERLOO — John P. Kehoe, 68, of Waterloo, died Sunday, June 9, 2013, at the Cedar Valley Hospice Home.

He was born Nov. 4, 1944, in Waterloo, son of John and Eunice Connell Kehoe. He married Nancy Pavelka on July 19, 1969, in Traer.

Mr. Kehoe was employed with Waterloo Industries for 30 years, retiring in 2000. He was a U.S. Army veteran.

Survived by his wife; a daughter, Jennifer (Ian) Goodkind of Chanhassen, Minn.; two granddaughters, Gabriela and Hayden; three brothers, Jerome (Pauline) and Justin (Rita), both of Waterloo, and Joseph (Cathy) of Wisconsin; four sisters, Margaret McKinstry and Carmen (Mark) Skyles, both of Waterloo, Monica (James) Artes of Decorah and Melanie Jensen of Arizona; and many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, James.

Memorial services: 10 a.m. Saturday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway, with full military rites conducted by Waterloo AMVETS Post 19 and Evansdale AMVETS Post 31. Inurnment will be in Fort Snelling National Cemetery, St. Paul, Minn., at a later date. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home and also for an hour before services on Saturday.

Memorials in lieu of flowers, may be directed to Cedar Valley Hospice or the family.
