Services for Charles Raymond Stout, 83, of 1001 Baltimore St., will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Dahl Funeral Home in Cedar Falls with the Rev. Charles Jacobs officiating. Burial will be in Falrvlew Cemetery [Cedar Falls]. Mr. Stout died Sunday evening in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.

He was born Aug. 12, 1883, in Stout, the son of Abram and Sarah Stout. He attended Iowa State College at Ames and worked for the Galloway Co. in Waterloo for 33 years. He was purchasing agent for the firm for the past 35 years retiring in 1996.

Mr. Stout maried Clara Jensen at Cedar Falls in 1920. She died in 1938. In 1949 he married Helen Conn. She died in 1965.

He was a member of the Waterloo Technical Society, a former member of Waterloo Transportation club, and a member of First Congregational Church.

Survivors include a daughter Mrs. E. B. McFarland of Coeur d'Alene and two grandchildren

He was preceded by five sisters and three brothers.
