Bernice "Boots" L. Beneke of Cedar Falls died at Covenant Hospital on Monday, March 20, 2006, due to complications of surgery.

She was born September 18, 1932 in Richmond, VA. She married Dean Beneke on June 13, 1952 in Colonial Heights, VA. She worked for several years as a secretary at Nazareth Lutheran Church in Cedar Falls.

Survivors include her husband, Dean Beneke; her sons, Terry (Nikki) Beneke of Dallas, TX; and Robert (Vickie) Beneke of Beijing, China; her daughter Sue (Dan) Paulsen of Ramsey, MN; and five grandchildren.

Services: 1:00 pm Nazareth Lutheran Church in Cedar Falls. Friday March 24. With a visitation from 12:00 - 1:00pm.

Memorials may be sent to Christian Crusaders Radio.
