Word has been received of the death Monday morning at Austin, Minnesota, of Dan R. Kelley, about 60, a former Waterloo resident.

He had been a patient at the Veterans hospital, St. Paul, Minnesota. Death was caused by carcinoma.

Mr. Kelley moved to Austin from Waterloo about 13 years ago. His wife, Loretta, died of cancer two years ago.

He was a janitor at East High School in Waterloo, and amember of the American Legion.

He is survived by two sons, Richard and Roger Kelley, both at Austin; two brothers, Joe Kelley, Fort Dodge, and Tom Kelley, Hibbing, Minnesota; and one sister, Mrs. Elizabeth King, Virginia, Minnesota.

Waterloo survivors include several nieces and a nephew.
