WATERLOO — Milton Noersgaard Hansen, 80, of Waterloo, died at home Monday, June 3, 2013, of natural causes.

He was born Jan. 22, 1933, in Cedar Falls, son of Hans Christian and Petrea Olesen Hansen. He married Diana Lichty on June 25, 1955, at First Congregational United Church of Christ, Waterloo.

He graduated from Iowa State University (BSME). Mr. Hansen was employed by Zeidlers’s Inc. in Waterloo, Viking Pump in Cedar Falls and Gorman Rupp in Mansfield, Ohio, retiring in 1998.

Survived by his wife; a son, David (Jayne) of Iowa City; a daughter, Lynn Morse of Des Moines; four grandchildren: Samuel and Abby Hansen and Parker and Truman Morse; a sister-in-law, Linda (Robert) Anderson of Cedar Falls; and several nephews and nieces, John (Alison) Skar of Wilbraham, Mass., Patricia (Alexis FitzGerald) Skar of Beatenberg, Switzerland, Paul (Nancy) Skar of Londonderry, N.H., Merrill Crawford of Dubuque and Ann Crawford of Cedar Falls.

Preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Mary Crawford and Margaret Skar; and an infant brother, Harvey.

Services: 4 p.m. Saturday at First Congregational United Church of Christ, with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Locke Funeral Home.
