CEDAR FALLS -- Memorial services for Craig R. Kennedy, 82, of 2528 Cottage Row Road, will be 3 p.m. Tuesday at Richardson Funeral Home.

He died Saturday [April 5, 1986] at Allen Memorial Hospital, Waterloo.

Mr. Kennedy was born on January 9, 1904, in Waterloo, Iowa, the son of George and Celestia Edelen Kennedy. He married Ruth H. Stetzel on August 3, 1935, in Des Moines.

He graduated from East High School in 1922. He received a law degree from the University of Iowa in 1929. He practiced law in Waterloo from 1929 to 1979 with the firm Kennedy, Kepford, Kelsen and White. Most recently he was general counsel in the law firm Reed, Merner, Sabbath, Strever, Zanville & Hansen in Cedar Falls.

He was past president of the Waterloo Jaycees and the Black Hawk County Bar Association.

Survivors include his wife. He was preceded in death by two brothers.

There will be no visitation. His body was cremated.
