Homer Wilson, 66, of 711 Campbell Ave., retired Waterloo businessman and formerly for many years a drug store operator here, died at the Americana Nursing Home Sunday at 8:15 a.m. of a heart attack.

He was born near Ruthven, on May 29, 1904, the son of Edward and Alice Wilson. Mr. Wilson owned and operated the Wilson Drug stores in downtown Waterloo for many years, one at Fourth and Jefferson Streets, the other at Fourth and Lafayette Streets.

Surviving are his mother, Mrs. Alice Wilson of the Americana Nursing home.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday at the Locke Funeral Home. The Rev. M. J. Dwyer, rector of St. Mark's Episcopal Church, will officiate. Burial will be in the Crown Hill Cemetery at Ruthven. Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. Monday.
