Services for former Waterloo resident Ruthven J. Krieger, 70, of Dubuque, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Memorial Chapel at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Friends may call at Parrott and Wood Funeral Home from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, and from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Hoffman Mortuary in Dubuque.

Mr. Keieger died at Iowa City at 11:20 a.m. Monday at University Hospitals in Iowa City.

He was born Dec. 13, 1904. in Chicago, son of Delbert and Jennie Sherman Krieger. He married Virginia Neary March 6, 1932, in Bethany. Mo. He was employed at Rath Packing Co for 15 years, and was also employed at 7-Up Bottling Co. here. He was plant manager of the Dubuque 7-Up plant for the past seven years.

Survivors include his wife, and two sons, Jack R. of John Day, Ore., and Barry L. of Longmont, Colo.
