WATERLOO — Bonnie Osgood, 77, of Waterloo, died Monday, May 27, 2013, at Ravenwood Nursing & Rehab Center of cancer.

She was born Aug. 13, 1935, in Waterloo, daughter of Walter and Elizabeth Smith Hurd. She married John D. “Oz” Osgood Jr. on Sept. 28, 1954. He preceded her in death Jan. 2, 1995.

Mrs. Osgood was a member of Central Christian Church.

Survived by two daughters, Kelli (James) Butler of Cedar Falls and Kristi (Steve) Butikofer of Waterloo; a stepson, Danny (Laresa) Osgood of Shell Rock; a sister, Mary Hurd of Waterloo; four grandchildren, Kori (Jeremy) Evans, John (Elizabeth) Loomis, Katie (Jason) Pint, and Niki (Sam) Annis; and seven great-grandchildren, Jaylin Pint, Piper Evans, Jace Pint, Hannah Loomis, Ella Annis, Max Annis, and Brieana Annis.

Preceded in death by her parents; her husband; three brothers, Walter, Eddie and Ronnie Hurd; and three sisters, Betty Shea, Delores Hurd and Peggy Miller.

Services: 11 a.m. Thursday at Central Christian Church, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Garden View Chapel Funeral Home and for an hour before services Thursday at the church.
