CEDAR FALLS- Michael J. Stubbe, 26, of Cedar Falls, died Friday, December 7, 2007 at his home.

He was born March 29, 1981, in South Korea, the son of Miguel Angel and Chon Sun (Nam) Cortez. He married Tami Olmstead May 19, 2001 in Cedar Falls.

Mr. Stubbe was a 2000 graduate of Cedar Falls High School. He was currently employed as a mechanic in the John Deere Foundry, in Waterloo, Iowa.

Survivors include his wife, Tami of Cedar Falls; three children, Autumn Rain, Samuel James and Truth LeAnn, all at home; two brothers, Nicholas Stubbe of North Liberty, Iowa and Cale Stubbe of Huntington Beach, CA; two sisters, Shelli (Joel) Lucas of Chandler, AZ and Kelli Beth Stubbe of Cedar Falls; Larry Stubbe, adoptive father of Beaman, Iowa; Pamela Mishler, adoptive mother of Cedar Falls; and step brother, Beau (Heather) Stubbe of Rockwell, Iowa.

Services: 11 a.m. Thursday, December 13 at Prairie Lakes Church in Cedar Falls, with burial in Garden of Memories in Waterloo. Public visitation from 4 to 7p.m. Wednesday at Richardson Funeral Home in Cedar Falls.
