CEDAR FALLS — Robert L. “Buck” Henriksen, 76, of Cedar Falls, died Wednesday, May 15, 2013, at Ravenwood Nursing & Rehab Center, Waterloo.

He was born Sept. 22, 1936, in Grundy County, son of Henry and Dolores Schlamp Henriksen.

He attended Dike Community School and served in the U.S. Army from 1955 to 1958. Mr. Henriksen worked at Wonder Bread, Waterloo, for 24 years, retiring Feb. 26, 1999. He had been a member of Local Teamsters Union 650.

Survived by two sons, William “Bill” (Lisa) and Brian, both of Cedar Falls; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a brother, Eugene of Waterloo; and a sister, Dorothy (Donald) Knudsen of Dike.

Preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Donna Henriksen.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Monday at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, with burial in Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens, both in Cedar Falls. Military honors conducted by Cedar Falls AMVETS Post 49. Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday and for an hour before services Monday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be directed to the family.

The family requests that friends dress casually for the funeral service.
