Services for Louise A. Niedert, 56, of Minneapolis, Minn., and formerly of Waterloo, will be 1 p.m. Friday at Oppold Funeral Home with burial in Fairview Cemetery. She died Tuesday evening at Hennepin County Hospital in Minneapolis.

She was born May 14, 1923, in Waterloo, daughter of Edward and Valda Macomber Niedert. She attended school at the Iowa School for the Deaf in Council Bluffs. She moved to Minneapolis eight years ago.

Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Zatha Oben of Minneapolis; and three brothers, Henry of 1100 Bishop Ave., Fred of 443 Dawson St. and James of 106 Roseland Drive.

Friends may call after 3 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
