Colleen A. Rice, 74, of Waterloo died Saturday, November 24, 2007, at Covenant Medical Center.

She was born February 10, 1933 in Waterloo, daughter of Earl and Leona Watson Owen.

She married Bobby G. Rice on June 13, 1951 in Black Hawk County. He died May 15, 2004. She was employed with Saxony for many years until her retirement.

Survivors include three sons: Rick (Deb) Rice of Evansdale, Doug (Cathy) Rice of LaPorte City, and Dennis Rice of Washburn; two daughters, Debra Sigler and Sheri Heideman both of Waterloo; six grandchidlren;five great grandchildren and two brothers, David Owen of Evansdale, and Michael Owen of St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin.

Preceded in death by a son Gary Alan Rice.

Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Garden Of Memories Cemetery with burial there. Public visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway.
