WATERLOO - Peggy Sue Coffey Perry, 72, formerly of Waterloo, died Feb. 28, 2006, at Avante Nursing Home, Waynesboro, Va.

She was born Oct. 27, 1933, daughter of Benton H. and Margaret Sue Dodd Coffey. She was raised by her grandparents, Woody and Nellie Dodd, and after their death, by her aunt, Charlotte Dodd. She married Arthur J. Perry on May 8, 1956, and he preceded her in death June 8, 1998.

She was a graduate of Rockfish Valley High School and was employed as a nurse's assistant at Friendship Village, Waterloo. She retired from Kroger Grocery Store, Tullahoma, Tenn., and had also been employed by Liberty House Nursing Home and Roses in Waynesboro.

She was a member of Beech Grove Christian Church.

Survived by two sons, Michael (Shawnee) and Donald, both of Tullahoma; two daughters, Sandra Elkins of Tullahoma and Nancy (Curt) Newton of Cedar Falls; and eight grandchildren.

Preceded in death by: her husband; her parents; her grandparents; and a sister, Nellie Elizabeth Coffey.

Graveside services took place in Beech Grove Christian Church Cemetery.
